Administrative Tools: Administrators also have the ability to lock a student account or access to the internet indefinitely. This has been extremely beneficial in managing the overwhelming task of verifying users with proper permissions on file. This enables teachers to allow students on the computer for assignments or projects without having to worry about whether or not they are allowed access to the internet. This is also useful in cases where students are denied access for disciplinary reasons. The Admin checkbox system is "read only" for teachers. Therefore they can see that a student's account is disabled at the administrative level but do not have access to change that setting. |
